About

OUR HISTORY

Welcome to the the Delta Gamma Phoenix Alumnae Chapter's annual fundraising event, Tables That Bloom! Each year we gather an incredible group of designers, local companies, community members and DG sisters who each let their creative talents soar by designing individual themed tables of 10. These specialty tables then create the backdrop for our event. We invite guests to peruse fabulous silent auction items before enjoying dinner and our program which highlights specifics about our receiving charities: Foundation for Blind Children and Delta Gamma Foundation. It is because of the generosity of people like you who attend our event, our silent auction donations, the support of our sponsors, the creativity of our table designers, and the dedication of Delta Gamma alumnae sisters that this event is a great success! We welcome all new and returning attendees. Tickets for this event are open to the public so please spread the word! We look forward to seeing you there!

Tables That Bloom has been a meaningful event for the Phoenix Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma, raising over $120,000 in the last five years to donate to the Foundation For Blind Children and Delta Gamma Foundation. We have had amazing community participation including planners, volunteers, designers, speakers, emcees, corporate sponsors, attendees, silent and live auction donations, and financial donors. Our first event broke the Delta Gamma Foundation’s record of the most raised in a single event by an alumnae chapter since they began tracking donations! Thank you to all who have helped us "Do Good."

Phoenix Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter

The Phoenix Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma is a group of diverse and talented women who share a common bond: a lifelong sisterhood. Honored with “Outstanding Chapter” in Division III at Delta Gamma Convention, this group is made up of a thousand women of all ages from around the country now living in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. The Phoenix Alumnae chapter enjoys a variety of programming in areas of social, philanthropic, and personal development.

Fifty years ago, the Phoenix Alumnae Chapter was one of three groups who were instrumental in the formation of the Blind Children’s School through the establishment of the Foundation for Blind Children in Phoenix. Still today, Phoenix DGs have participated in many hands-on activities to help those who are visually impaired. The Phoenix Alumnae Chapter has and continues to support the efforts of the Foundation for Blind Children with fundraising events and service hours.
