Keynote Speaker

Lin Sue Cooney recently became director of community engagement for Hospice of the Valley, after 31 years as a newscaster at 12 News. She may have changed professions, but her passion to serve is stronger than ever. Instead of connecting our community to the latest headlines, she now connects families with the compassionate services offered by one of the largest not for profit hospices in the nation.

Her first experience with Hospice of the Valley came in 2003, when her beloved father-in-law passed away. The nurses were so amazing– she never forgot how kind and loving they were. She feels blessed to be helping other families receive the same tender care that her family received all those years ago.

Lin Sue and her standard poodle Max are a pet therapy team with the Pet Connections program at Hospice of the Valley, and they love visiting patients together.

Originally from the rural, rolling hills of southern Indiana, I’m inspired by the beauty and simplicity of nature. My imagery is romantic and timeless, combined with a lighthearted approach, to capture who you truly are as a couple.

Once I moved to my current home in sunny Arizona, I spent ten years in residential new home sales for some of the top builders in the country. My attention to detail, organization, efficiency, and professionalism means you'll receive an easy, seamless and stress-free experience.

This combination of my small town roots, theatrical experience, and business background uniquely provides you and your families an exclusive, one-of-a-kind experience that is second to none.
